SBPA Systems Purchases Embedded Ascential Products

SBPA Systems, Inc., which develops software applications for health care system administrators, purchased embedded Ascential Software™ products from Strategies2Integrate as well as associated consulting services. SBPA, headquartered in Houston, Texas, plans to incorporate embedded Ascential products into its suite of integrated health care delivery systems it markets to managed care organizations, insurance companies, hospitals, large employers and third party administrators nationally.

According to SBPA Chairman and CEO Arnold Heinrich, embedded Ascential products are an indispensable asset to SBPA's employee benefit software solutions for benefit plan administration. "Embedded Ascential products enable the development of superior solutions for transparently extracting data out of claims systems and putting it into a format that lends itself to analysis and reporting," Heinrich said. "We have gone to great pains to capture the business requirements of our clients. Embedded Ascential products will enable us to quickly deliver powerful reporting capabilities to our customers against those business requirements, greatly enhancing our solution."

Application PerforMart, Ltd., which develops analytic applications that provide extraction, transformation, and loading as well as query, reporting, and analysis capabilities, entered in an agreement with Strategies2Integrate to implement embedded Ascential products for their customers and to contract with Strategies2Integrate consulting services. APM, headquartered in Arlington, Texas, plans to incorporate embedded Ascential products into the analytic applications it markets to small to midsize businesses in the financial, retail, and healthcare industries.

According to APM Director of Marketing, David Baldwin, embedded Ascential products will be a key asset to APM's analytic applications. "By utilizing embedded Ascential products in our analytic applications we'll be able to offer our customers enterprise-level reporting and querying capabilities. Baldwin said. "Our customers require enterprise-level data integration despite not being enterprise-sized. Embedded Ascential products will enable us to quickly deliver that level of power and greatly enhancing our solution."
